Examination Board

1) Mathew Kurian an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, has an LLB (Honours) from the University of Buckingham, UK; MSc in Strategic Studies from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore; Post Graduate Diploma in Singapore Law from the National University of Singapore; and Graduate Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) of the Nanyang Technological University. With a background in commercial investigations, Mathew has considerable expertise in the areas of intellectual property rights, criminal investigations, counter-industrial espionage, corporate fraud, asset discovery etc.

2) School founder Jaya Prakash is a life-long journalist. He first began his career in the late 1980s after completing his military service which is mandatory for all Singapore males. Since then he has worked in newspapers, magazines rising to the level of managing editor in Raffles Trade Press. Along the way he has won or contributed to winning literary awards in recognition of the fine work he undertakes in the pursuit of journalism. He last worked in internationally-renowned maritime journal, Fairplay Shipping Weekly and this is what his one-time editor Patrick Neylan said about him:-

I worked with Jaya Prakash during my time as Editor of Fairplay International Shipping Weekly and Fairplay 24 (electronic daily news), until May 2008. Jaya is a talented and enthusiastic journalist with burgeoning experience in international trade and commerce. I found him easy to work with and was impressed with the combination of confidence in his own abilities and keenness to extend his skills. He has an innate knowledge and understanding of the economy, society and politics of Southeast Asia and has been extending that knowledge to international business on a global scale. 3) Robin Sewlal is the head of journalism studies at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. Apart from teaching journalism, Mr Sewlal is also a trained lawyer and a part-time judge, and chairs various South African journalistic bodies. He is well known in South African academic circles and a respected voice in media laws and pedagogy.
